‘DINNER IMPOSSIBLE’ REPEATS EPISODE FEATURING HISTORIC WEST VIRGINIA LOCATION, PRODUCTS
The popular Food Network show “Dinner: Impossible” this weekend will rebroadcast its episode that featured the Mother’s Day Shrine in Grafton and a variety of West Virginia Grown products.
Times are 3 p.m. and 10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20; 1 a.m. and 11 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 21; and 2 a.m. Monday, Sept. 22.
Staff from the West Virginia Department of Agriculture’s Marketing and Development Division was instrumental in supplying host/chef Michael Symon with ingredients for his meal. They even went as far as setting up an impromptu farmers’ market on the roof of the Grafton municipal parking garage.
The West Virginia Department of Agriculture protects plant, animal and human health through a variety of scientific, regulatory and consumer protection programs, as mandated by state law. The Commissioner of Agriculture is one of six statewide elected officials in West Virginia. Currently, Commissioner Gus R. Douglass is the longest-serving agriculture commissioner in the nation.
