ANNUAL PRESTON COUNTY FIELD DAY SET FOR AUGUST 23

Tunnelton, W.Va. – An agriculture field day will be held Saturday, August 23, 2008 starting at 9:00 a.m. at Dave and Barb Miller’s Mountain Diamond Longhorn Farm near Tunnelton.

The increasingly popular event is free of charge and will feature a wide variety of issues and demonstrations, plus a farm-fresh lunch. Pre-registration is required for the event. Call Carrie Stemple at the Preston County Extension Office at 304-329-1391 for more information or to register.

Sponsors are Dave and Barb Miller, the West Virginia Department of Agriculture (WVDA), WVU’s Davis College of Agriculture, Forestry and Consumer Sciences, WVU Cooperative Extension Service and West Virginia Conservation Agency (WVCA).
