WVDA PROPOSING AUCTIONEER RULE CHANGES
Charleston, W.Va. –The West Virginia Department of Agriculture filed rule changes with the Secretary of State for Title 61, Legislative Rule, State Department of Agriculture, Series 11-B, Auctioneers on April 26. A public comment period will be in effect until Thursday, May 31, 2007. The proposed rule changes are summarized as follows:
- Technical cleanup.
- Increasing amount of bond for auctioneers and apprentice auctioneers.
- Increasing Continuing Education requirements to maintain reciprocal status with reciprocal states.
