MOUNTAIN STATE ART & CRAFT FAIR SCHOLARSHIP AND GRANT APPLICATION AVAILABLE
Applications are being taken for grants and scholarships to be awarded by the Mountain State Art & Craft Fair Scholarship and Grant Fund, according to Fund President Gloria Gregorich.
This fund was established to foster, encourage and develop an appreciation for education in West Virginia's visual arts, heritage music and dance, Gregorich explained.
Grants and scholarships are available to any West Virginia resident age 18 or older, and they must be used for education or training for advancement in one's discipline in the visual arts or traditional/heritage music or dance. Applications will be accepted thought May 1. They will be reviewed by the Board of Trustees by May 15 and awards will be made by June 1.
