HOUSE
The Inwood Farmers Market will host a Christmas Open House
Friday, November 21, 2003, at the Market just south of Martinsburg.
The event will feature product tastings and a lot of great merchandise
for holiday gift-giving.
The Inwood Market is open year-round, said Commissioner
of Agriculture Gus R. Douglass. Customers can purchase delicious
West Virginia Grown products any month of the year. Deputy
Commissioner of Agriculture Janet Fisher will be at the market from
9-11 a.m. to help kick off the festivities.
Manager Faye Roberts said the Market has plenty of West Virginia
wines, locally-grown apples and apple cider, and will create custom
gift baskets to order.
She added that the Market will be open Monday-Friday 9 a.m. -
5 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. through the end of the
year. Beginning January 1, 2004, the Market will be open Monday-Friday
and will resume expanded hours May 1.
