TOBACCO SETTLEMENT APPLICATION DEADLINE SEPTEMBER 1, 2001

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
August 24, 2001

CHARLESTON, WV — The deadline for the Tobacco Settlement Applications to be returned to the West Virginia Department of Agriculture (WVDA) is September 1, 2001. If this information is not submitted by the deadline, you will not be eligible for payment from the National Tobacco Settlement Trust Fund.
