WEST VIRGINIA DIRECT MARKETING ASSOCIATION ANNOUNCES FALL TOUR
CHARLESTON, W.VA. The West Virginia Direct Marketing Association will hold their Fall Tour in the Mountain Lakes area of central West Virginia on Wednesday, October 18, 2000. The Tour will meet at the Weston Farmers' Market and proceed to four agricultural operations throughout the region.
Farrell's Hydroponic Greenhouse, West Virginia Fruit & Berry, Astolat Garden Perennials and Lambert's Vintage Winery will provide tour participants an opportunity to learn about unique productions and marketing methods. Cost of the tour for Direct Marketing members is $10 and $25 for non-members. This cost includes tour transportation, a continental breakfast and lunch.
The tour itinerary includes:
8:00-9:00 a.m. Registration at Weston Farmers' Market; continental breakfast provided by Mountain Lakes Bed & Breakfast Association; board bus
9:30-10:30 a.m. Farrell's Hydroponic Greenhouse
11:00-12 noon West Virginia Fruit & Berry
12:00-12:45 p.m. Lunch (provided by the Association); depart for next stop
1:30-2:30 p.m. Astolat Garden Perennials
3:00-4:00 p.m. Lambert's Vintage Winery
4:15-5:00 p.m. Weston Farmers' Market Tour
The Tour is being sponsored by the West Virginia Department of Agriculture, West Virginia Farm Bureau, West Virginia University Extension Service and Mountain Lakes Bed & Breakfast Association.
