MARLINTON LIVESTOCK AUCTION MARKET PUBLIC HEARING SCHEDULED CHARLESTON, W.VA. Agriculture Commissioner Gus R. Douglass announced that a public hearing has been scheduled for July 6, 2000, to receive comments concerning a request by the Pocahontas Producers Co-Op located in Marlinton, W.Va. The subject of the hearing will be to change their sale day from Tuesday to Saturday, with the exception of the first Saturday of each month. The hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. at the West Virginia Department of Agriculture's (WVDA) Guthrie Agriculture Center near Sissonville, W.Va., in Building 2, Room 202. If you would like to comment about this request, you may appear in person at the hearing or write to Commissioner Gus R. Douglass, WVDA, 1900 Kanawha Blvd., E., Charleston, WV 25305, by July 6, 2000. |
