POLICY AND PROCEDURE MANUAL RECEIPT
This manual is designed to supersede the West Virginia Department
of Agriculture Administrative Rules for the Personnel of the West
Virginia Department of Agriculture ("Department"). Whether
you are a new or current employee, we hope this handbook will help
you understand the guiding policies and procedures which affect
your employment and your responsibilities as an employee.
This manual is intended to be used as a guideline. It is not designed
to be a comprehensive handbook of every Department policy and procedure.
This manual cannot address every possible employment situation nor
can it provide an answer for every question or offer a solution
for every circumstance that may arise. The Department reserves the
right to amend or eliminate any policy and procedure contained in
this handbook at its discretion.
THE POLICIES AND PROCEDURES SET FORTH IN THIS MANUAL DO NOT CREATE
A CONTRACT, NOR ARE THEY TO BE CONSTRUED AS CREATING CONTRACTUAL
OBLIGATIONS OF ANY KIND OR A CONTRACT OF EMPLOYMENT BETWEEN THE
DEPARTMENT AND ANY OF ITS EMPLOYEES.
